A clinical consultation comes before any treatment. It is a conversation, not a treatment menu.

Your practitioner assesses your concerns, relevant medical history and treatment suitability.
Honest advice
Approaches that may be appropriate are explained, along with the potential risks, limitations, expected recovery and realistic outcomes.
A plan decided together
Any plan is tailored to your individual assessment, and a treatment only goes ahead where it is clinically appropriate for you.
How we practise

We practise conservatively. Where a procedure is indicated, we use the least invasive option that meets the clinical need, and we will tell you when we think no treatment is the right answer.
Ageing and normal variation in the face and body are not conditions that require treatment. A consultation does not mean a treatment will be recommended.

Is Dr Furella Aesthetics a doctor-run clinic?
Yes. We are a doctor-run aesthetics, body contour and skin clinic. From your first consultation to your final follow-up you are guided by registered medical practitioners and nurses, and every treatment is planned and delivered by our medical team.
Do I need a consultation before treatment?
Yes. Every treatment plan is customised to your goals and skin, so we begin with a thorough consultation to assess your concerns, discuss your options, and design a personalised plan with clear, transparent guidance.
What results can I expect?
Outcomes vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. What is realistically achievable for you, along with the limitations and the risks, is assessed and discussed at your consultation before anything is decided.
Will I definitely be offered a treatment?
No. A consultation does not mean a treatment will be recommended. Any treatment is decided with you during the consultation and only where a practitioner considers it clinically appropriate for you.
